Music with talent, are there any left?concert venue
If you want talent, listen to RUSH!
RUSH has the most talented musicians i know. The bassist geddy lee, can play a bass beter than any of the modern gutiarists paly guitar. he moves around so fast and he has so much musical experience.
Alex liefson, guitar, has none of that constant power chord stuff, and he is as good at his innsturment as geddy is at his.
Neil peart is known to be one of the greatest drummers of all time.
They have over thirty years of experience. and they are my FAVORITE BAND!!
I would recomend you to listen to the album Moving Pictures, and espically to the song YYZ. you want talent, YYZ displays it.
GO RUSH
Music with talent, are there any left?events opera theater
oh, try the honorary title. (indie) most of their music is soft
acoustic and they're not that popular (yet)
they have poem like lyrics. they re very beautifully written
try everything i once had. heres the link
http://youtube.com/watch?v=z-0jo9ilixy.....
you can also try ideaframe. but i don't know much about
them.
go to http://www.purevolume.com/ if you're looking for indie bands.
you can also try bridge and tunnel. (the honorary title)
they have a new cd coming out on aug. 28th called
scream and light up the sky.
hope this helps!
Mozart? Die Zauberflote. Symphony No. 12 in G Major is a favorite of mine.
try indie and local artists.
all i can say is: Coheed and Cambria.........
hey?! what's with the thumbs down? where's your taste people? it must be up your @ss.....
Turn to indie rock. That's where truly talented (%26amp; pretty much ignored) bands are.
BILLY TALENT (it has talent in their name!)
they are my abosoulte Fav band ever!! not that many people have herd of them since their canadian..bu up here their perttly popular... their sorta rock..
they have lots of good songs! well i think that they do!
I mostly like heavy metal...here are some bands wit alot of talent:
Slayer
Devildriver
Alexisonfire
Iron Maiden
Meat Loaf
walk, and throes of rejection - (both by) Pantera
Lamb Of God's new album - Sacrament
Right now, you won't find them on the mainstream. Mainstream's all carbon-copy pop stars and repetitive rappers. The good bands are always given small airtime.
Good bands I say are Nickelback, Hinder, Paparoach, Korn, Breaking Benjamin, B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, Staind, Led Zeppelin, Linkin' Park, AC/DC. Some of these are all-time favorites with a positive track record and is in your rock music area.
10 years...you'll love it...promise
Days of the new.......maybe
tool....maybe a perfect circle....maybe
an a heavier type...Kamelot...kinda symphonic metal opera?
But most likely you'll like 10 years
definetly try bright eyes.
conor oberst doesnt really have an amazing voice,
but his lyrics are mind blowing.
listen to some of his older stuff.
i love his song "happy birthday to me (feb.15)"
and the a little over played "first day of my life".
he is amazing.
if you like metal though (just something to mosh to) try bring me the horizon, scary kids scaring kids, darkest hour, norma jean (not a huge fan of norma jean but a lot of people who like SKSK and BMTH like them)
you may not like this band but hellogoodbye
in my opinion best band ever listen to them live and you will be blownnn awayyy
Sufjan Stevens
Belle %26amp; Sebastian
The New Pornographers
Grunge
Alice In Chains
Soundgarden
Stone Temple Pilots
Pearl Jam
And their side projects.
You hopefully have already listened to Nirvana, right? 90s was the best time for rock.
Reggie and the full effect-Songs not to get married to is an amazing album with a mix of everything in it, not just one main sound
Tokyo Police Club
The Matches
Death Cab for Cutie
The Killers (first album)
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
The Strokes
Arctic Monkeys
Cold War Kids
Coldplay
Incubus
Kings of Leon
MUSE (a definite yes)
Interpol
You should REALLY listen to all of these!%26lt;3
The first and third slipknot albums. Alice in Chains, Creed (yea i said it...creed) umm the first mudvayne album. ANGELS AND AIRWAVES have amazing lyrics and hooks.
Foo fighters. NIRVANA. first album of Gorillaz. Staind's Break the cycle album and 14 shades of gray album. Static X's Wisconsin death trip album and shadow zone album. STONE SOUR (once again this is a band with amazing lyrics and hooks) Weezer's blue album.
There is hardly any good music out there any more... and not many true musicians. Technology had killed that... even i could sound good these days and sell records.. stick with the old stuff... its better
and i loove wat u said about afi... THEY ARENT REAL MUSIC!!!
Check out Symphony X great metal.
blessthefall
bring me the horizon
th devil wears prada

Tomasso Albioni Adagio for string
Chopin

Vivaldi
Karajan
Moderm:
Porcupine tree
Adagio
nightwish
Epica
Garou
Dreamaker
pretty much any thing thats metal, they all have enormous talent and they play solos, unlike indie bands who just play three chordes and say there really good musicans, and you cant go wrong with any of the genres as long as there hard rock and metal
I love talented, beautiful, powerful music! Here are some of my favorites:
-Emmie Jones (she's not big, but she's amazing, find her myspace)
-Robin Ella or Robinella and the CC String Band
-Ani DiFranco
-Lily Allen (her album's great)
-Fiona Apple
-Ben Folds
-Corinne Bailey Rae
Silverstein
UnderOath
Justin timberlake until the end of time
Carrie Underwood. She's coming out with a new album due out in October. "Some Hearts" is really good, though!
What's up with all the thumbs down? Carrie Underwood is an extremely talented vocalist. The asker asked for talent, correct?
