Does anyone know why my RCA TV has green spots and the sound drops out whenever there's a bass

I read online that this particular model does this, but this was AFTER I bought it. Turns out those same two problems (the green blobs and the sound dropping out) happens to me too. I have an RCA 19" (meausred diagonally) TruFlat TV model from about 3 years ago. This set itself is about almost 2 years old (April 2006). I want to know what causes this - when any kind of bass comes into the sound, whether it be music or sound effects, it drops the higher sounds out, and I then turn up the volume or have to really listen closely or turn back the TV program or DVD to hear what was said. It is very annoying. I'm supposing that hooking a separate stereo system to it would work, because it wouldn't be coming from those same speakers, so voila, there I have it. I also would like some suggestions on a tape recorder or digital recorder (small) that is good for recording myself singing which does not distort on high frequencies or loud frequencies - I sing opera -high and loudly.

If it does display green spots other than the normal green tint, that TV must have some electronic component failures also if the sound is distorted,it indicates overload or bad audio amp in your TV. Those can't be corrected using remote, turning knobs etc. Also if that's the case of many with that particular model, then the design of that model is not good. Maybe also bad quality standard when that model run into production. TVs have printed circuit boards inside, like a cardboard, and heat bends that sheet causing components to stretch and fail. Have a qualified technician see it. As for the tape recorder, buy a branded product like sony. See the labels on the carton and look for recording frequency values. There are values in decibels(db) or Hz, select a model with the widest range the upper limit values are high freguencies and the lower is low(bass),you must be an alto or tenor.

the green spots if they are a common problem with that model is an engineeringflaw(take it back) the sound drop is probably from "smart sound" when the sound reach a certain decibal level it automatically cuts out. Some are built in some are programmed on or off with the remote.
